Shipping method
Smaller orders ship parcel (UPS/FedEx Ground). Heavy or bulk quantities consolidate to LTL freight. The method and final cost are shown before payment, so there are no post-checkout adjustments.

This Colson 3" Stainless Steel Swivel Caster – 2.5" Plate Precision Bearing is rated to 225 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a High-Temp Elastomer wheel with a 1-1/4" tread width. This wheel material balances load capacity, rolling ease, and floor protection for the intended application.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 2-1/2" x 3-5/8" plate and a 1-3/4" x 2-13/16" to 3-1/16" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The High-Temp Elastomer wheel performs best on smooth concrete and finished warehouse floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 4.69". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
