Hamilton floor truck locks are engineered for medium-duty applications, offering an effective solution to prevent accidental rolling. The inclusion of a spring-loaded neoprene brake shoe ensures your equipment remains securely in place.
Engage the brake easily by depressing the foot pedal, activating the brake shoe for stable positioning. Releasing the lock is just as effortless, requiring a simple step on the opposite pedal to retract the mechanism and mobilize your equipment.
Each lock comes equipped with a shim plate, part number TL-55J, which can be used to adjust the height by an additional 1/4 inch, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of medium-duty casters.

This Hamilton TL-5J 5" Floor Truck Lock 900 lb For 5" Wheels is rated to 900 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-3/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
