A rental dealer is not the truck factory. The dealer rents and sells machines, runs service trucks, and answers the phone when a forklift is down. Jungheinrich AG is the German manufacturer. On Aug. 6, 2026, Jungheinrich said it signed an agreement to acquire All Lift Forklifts, an Australian rental specialist and dealer of material handling and access equipment. That is a signed deal announcement. It is not the same as a confirmed close.

Who is All Lift? The company is family-owned, headquartered in Sydney, and lists six locations across Australia, according to Jungheinrich’s release. It runs a diversified rental fleet, serves customers across a broad range of industries, and offers service. Managing Director Dean Kretchmer said All Lift’s success over more than 26 years was built on people, customer relationships, and quality service, and that the company is excited to join forces with Jungheinrich.

Why Jungheinrich wants it: Nadine Despineux, Member of the Board of Management for Sales at Jungheinrich AG, called the acquisition a step to strengthen the company’s presence in Australia and its growth ambitions in the Asia-Pacific region under Strategy 2030+. Jungheinrich described Australia as one of the largest material handling equipment markets in APAC and said rental is becoming more important for customers who want flexibility and lifecycle-oriented offerings. Those are the company’s reasons. This desk did not independently size the Australian rental market for this brief.

Ownership after the deal — the signature for a buyer or facility manager in Australia — is continuity of the local brand. Jungheinrich said that following the acquisition, All Lift will continue to operate under its existing brand name. In plain terms: the All Lift name stays on the door while ownership moves to Jungheinrich. Who answers the rental and service relationship in Australia after the deal still runs through that All Lift brand, per the company. The release also said the two will strengthen offerings across ownership, rental, and service. Purchase price, equity percentage, debt, and a legal close date were not disclosed.

This is not yesterday’s Jungheinrich product story. The live Industrial Insights piece on the ETV 4i was an order-clock for a reach truck. This brief is brand-and-ownership news about an Australian rental dealer channel.

Limits

Facts on the signed agreement, All Lift’s Sydney HQ, six locations, family ownership, rental/service description, brand continuity, and the Kretchmer and Despineux quotes are from Jungheinrich’s Aug. 6, 2026 English press release. Modern Materials Handling carried a same-day trade summary. This desk did not review a purchase agreement, Australian regulator filing, or close notice. Price and close timing were not stated. Strategy 2030+ and APAC market framing are company language. The photograph is an outdoor forklift-yard stand-in. It is not an All Lift site and not a Jungheinrich Australia location.
