Kreate is a product company. In its own words, it designs and makes consumer and professional products — from the idea stage through manufacturing. Nickolas Asset Management is the money and ownership partner: an operator-led family office that says it uses permanent capital and partners with management teams for the long haul. Together, on Sept. 1, 2026, they said they are putting $100 million into a factory in Tiffin, Ohio.
Here is the plant in plain terms. The site is 458 Second Avenue. The building is about 542,000 square feet. The companies say the money covers the building, machines, infrastructure, tooling, and startup so the plant can make Kreate’s consumer and professional products. They did not publish a customer list or a full product catalog in that release. This article does not invent one.
The date that matters for a material-handling reader is Oct. 1, 2026. The companies say the first machines have already arrived and that production is scheduled to begin that day. Scheduled is the key word. A press-release schedule is not the same thing as someone standing on the floor watching good parts come off the line. Machines on site and production running are different milestones. Only the schedule was published.
What do they say will be on the floor? Thirty-two new ENGEL injection-molding machines — those are the presses that melt plastic and shoot it into molds — with weight-control features and pick-and-place robots. FANUC collaborative robots. Autonomous guided vehicles, which are driverless carts that move material around a plant. Automated packaging. And Krevera’s computer-vision software, which the release says would watch quality, talk to equipment, and help machines correct themselves. Those are company claims. The release names AGVs as an equipment type. It does not name which AGV brand, how many, or who will supply the wheels. CasterHQ is not in this deal and does not claim to supply the plant.
Why Tiffin, according to them? Scale, electrical capacity, rail, warehousing, and existing industrial infrastructure — so they can install technology faster than building from bare dirt. They also describe an on-site rail spur that can hold about 25 railcars, plus warehousing and tool-and-die work on site. They expect about 120 jobs across trades, tool-and-die, manufacturing, engineering, robotics, automation, maintenance, and logistics. Job and rail figures were not independently counted for this article.
Nickolas Reinhart, founder and owner of Kreate, is quoted saying skilled trades plus technology is the future and that Tiffin puts both under one roof. Ceremony language and a $100 million headline are still not a production clock. The clock the companies published is Oct. 1, 2026 — and only as a schedule until production is actually observed.
Bottom line: two named companies say a big molding plant in Tiffin is funded, machines are arriving, AGVs are on the floor plan as a claim, and they want to be making product by Oct. 1. Believe the calendar as a company target, not as a finished fact.
Limits
All plant, equipment, job, and schedule figures are from the Sept. 1, 2026 Kreate / Nickolas Asset Management release on PR Newswire. Production was not observed. AGV models and counts were not published. ENGEL and FANUC installation status was not verified on site. The photograph is an illustrative molding cell with a robot arm, not the Tiffin building.
