Sdiptech bought British wheel maker A.U.T. Guy Glover stayed.

A.U.T. makes wheels and castors in Britain, for warehouses, factories, waste recycling, and specialist engineering. The company says Guy Glover started it in 1981, after A.U.T. became the exclusive British agent for the Italian wheel maker Tellure Rôta. It has been at the work for more than 40 years. A quarter of the castors it supplies are made to a customer’s drawing. Its site lists aerospace wheels rated to 22 tonnes and high-temperature castors rated to 500 degrees Celsius. James Glover joined in 2012. The family bought the business from its previous owners in 2019. In 2022 the company took in MTM Engineering & Moulding. Those dates and product ratings are A.U.T.’s own account. Sdiptech’s titles for the same people are not identical to the titles on the A.U.T. site.

On Aug. 6, 2026, Sdiptech said it had acquired A.U.T. (Wheels and Castors) Co. Ltd. Sdiptech is a Stockholm industrial group, listed in Stockholm as SDIP B, with about SEK 4.5 billion in sales. It said A.U.T. holds a leading position in the British market for wheels and castors, with annual revenue of about £7 million and what it called good profitability. The £7 million is revenue, not the price Sdiptech paid. No purchase price was printed. A.U.T. becomes the eleventh business in Sdiptech’s supply-chain and transportation area, counted there from August 2026.

The people stayed. Sdiptech said managing director Guy Glover remains, with James Glover as strategic director and Peter Harrop as chief financial officer, both in part-time roles. Daniel Unge, who runs that business area, said A.U.T.’s industrial and commercial work complements Sdiptech’s position in solutions inside logistics hubs. The wheels A.U.T. sells are for moving goods on a warehouse floor, not the tire on a highway truck. Sdiptech did not say the A.U.T. name would come off the product, and it did not publish a new catalog.
