The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

23" Wide Steel Nose Plate

Diameter: 8 inCapacity: up to 800 lb

This collection gathers plate-mount casters used on outdoor yards and rough pavement. You will see wheel diameters 8 in, steel and pneumatic treads, and capacities 600 to 800 lb across the SKUs listed below. Replace worn corners in matched sets when possible so the cart tracks straight under load. Size capacity from the heaviest corner load with shock margin, and keep overall height consistent across the set.
