Polyurethane on Polyolefin wheels is typically known as Poly on Poly wheels in the Caster industry. These wheels are easy rolling, non-marking, non-marring, and come with full thread guards to protect the precision bearing from dust and debris in the center of the wheel. These poly-on-poly wheels are unique compared to similar wheels on the market; ours are mechanically locked to the core of the tread to prevent delamination, seen on cheaper versions from other sellers. Other sellers use glue to bond the tread, which can delaminate over time. Ours will never delaminate because we use a mechanical lock bond meaning the polyurethane is poured through the hub of the wheel, making a solid connection and a permanent mechanical lock. The wheel is also resistant to chemicals, oils, solvents, and mild acids. Our Caster fork, which holds the wheel, is made from cold rolled heavy-duty gauge steel and has a double ball bearing raceway for easy maneuverability and increased strength and durability. The casters have full dust covers on the raceway to protect the bearings, and we add a beautiful zinc-plated finish for extra rust and corrosion resistance.
