The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

5" x 2" Casters

Diameter: 5 inTread: 2 inCapacity: up to 840 lb

5" x 2" Casters for warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures. Expect wheel diameters 5 in, plate-mount frames, and capacities 840 lb. Match bolt-hole spacing or stem diameter to the frame before you standardize a fleet. Size capacity from the heaviest corner load with shock margin, and keep overall height consistent across the set. These medium-duty options cover everyday warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures without jumping to extreme forged series.
