The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

The two forged steel casters here come from Hamilton with 8 in wheels, rated 6,000 lb each. Most mount on a 5-1/4 x 7-1/4 in plate, and you can pick swivel or rigid. You will find a Hamilton R-SEC-83FSB 8 x 3 in forged steel rigid caster rated 6,000 lb and a Hamilton S-SEC-83FSB 8 x 3 in forged steel swivel kingpinless caster rated 6,000 lb here.
