The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Diameter: 8 inTread: 2 inCapacity: up to 1,200 lb

8" x 2" Casters for warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures. Catalog chips cover wheel diameters 8 in, plate-mount frames, and capacities 1,200 lb. Size capacity from the heaviest corner load with shock margin, and keep overall height consistent across the set. When floors see chemicals or washdowns, prefer sealed bearings and non-absorbent wheel compounds. These medium-duty options cover everyday warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures without jumping to extreme forged series.
