Match a 4-1/2 x 6 top plate when bolting casters under heavy warehouse carts, die carts, and plant fixtures. Expect wheel diameters 8 in, steel and stainless treads, and capacities 2,400 lb. Match bolt-hole spacing or stem diameter to the frame before you standardize a fleet. Larger plates spread bolt stress on thick frames under continuous tow abuse. For dual-wheel or wide treads, check fork clearance and swivel radius in tight aisles.
