All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Colson Stainless Steel Rubber Total Lock Plate Casters

Colson plate-mount casters for carts and fixtures in carts that must lock wheel and swivel together. Typical builds show wheel diameters 1-3/4 to 8 in, rubber, steel, and stainless treads, and capacities 150 to 675 lb. Replace worn corners in matched sets when possible so the cart tracks straight under load. Use kingpinless or heavy plate series when shock loads keep shearing kingpin races. These light-duty options cover everyday carts that must lock wheel and swivel together without jumping to extreme forged series.
