All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
The Heavy Service HS Series carries up to 2,000 lb per caster — engineered for applications where the duty cycle is genuinely punishing: constant movement, heavy loads, rough floors, the equipment that gets used hard every shift. Heavier rigging than a standard-duty line, tuned for abuse.

Heavy service isn't about peak capacity — it's about sustained abuse. The HS Series targets carts and equipment that run continuously under heavy load on imperfect floors: the manufacturing rigs, the warehouse workhorses, the shop equipment that never gets a break. The rigging is heavier and the bearings tougher than a general-service line because the failure mode here is wear-out from cycle count, not a single overload.
Heavier-gauge rigging, roller bearings through the range, and wheel options matched to rough-floor and high-cycle duty — cast iron and polyurethane-on-iron for the punishing applications. Capacity to 2,000 lb covers heavy carts and light machine bases that still need to move regularly.
General Service is everyday moderate duty. Heavy Service is built for genuinely punishing cycles — heavier rigging, tougher bearings, higher capacity to 2,000 lb.
Wear-out from sustained high-cycle heavy use on rough floors — not a single overload. The construction is tuned for endurance.
Yes — the HS2 dual-wheel series reaches 3,000 lb for even heavier sustained duty.
Our US-based caster engineers will match the right build to your load, floor, and application.
