The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

4" x 1-1/4" Polyolefin Casters for light institutional and furniture-grade frames. Catalog chips cover wheel diameters 4 in, polyolefin treads, and threaded-stem frames. Replace worn corners in matched sets when possible so the cart tracks straight under load. Size capacity from the heaviest corner load with shock margin, and keep overall height consistent across the set. These light-duty options cover everyday light institutional and furniture-grade frames without jumping to extreme forged series.
