The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

4" x 2" Polyurethane Casters

Diameter: 4 inTread: 2 inCapacity: up to 1,200 lb

This collection gathers plate-mount casters used on chemical, food-contact, and washdown carts. Catalog chips cover wheel diameters 4 in, polyurethane and nylon treads, and capacities 1,200 lb. Size capacity from the heaviest corner load with shock margin, and keep overall height consistent across the set. Harder poly rolls easier on smooth epoxy; softer poly cushions vibration on uneven slabs. These medium-duty options cover everyday chemical, food-contact, and washdown carts without jumping to extreme forged series.
