All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

ThermoTech is Colson's high-heat rubber tread molded on an aluminum core [S2]. Ordinary rubber and polyurethane are usually rated near 160 to 180°F. ThermoTech is rated to 490°F continuous and about 525°F for short exposure, with a 75 Shore A tread that stays quiet and does not mark floors. Colson mounts it in the 2 Series polished 304 stainless rig [S2].
A Teflon (PTFE) bearing is what Colson codes as .613 on these part numbers (for example 2.04456.613 and 2.05456.613). It handles the heat range of the ThermoTech tread better than a standard Delrin bearing in this series. The wheel tread is still rubber ThermoTech, not solid PTFE.
| Wheel | Dia x tread | Per caster | Bearing | Temp (Colson) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ThermoTech | 4 x 1-1/4 and 5 x 1-1/4 in | 250 lb | Teflon | -45 to 490°F continuous |
| Performa rubber | 4 x 1-1/4 in | 300 lb | See listing | Standard Performa range |

No. On these Colson part numbers, Teflon is the wheel bearing. The tread is ThermoTech high-heat rubber (or Performa on the one 300 lb listing).
Colson rates ThermoTech -45 to 490°F continuous and about 525°F intermittent [S2]. Confirm grease and brake limits on the listing for your oven or washdown cycle.
2-1/2 x 3-5/8 in top plate (bolt pattern about 1-3/4 x 2-13/16 to 3-1/16 in) on the Colson 2 Series stainless units here.
