Seized or gritty swivel assemblies, failed wheel bearings, and bent axles. These are the usual cause of carts that pull, wobble, or take two hands to steer, and they are repaired or swapped per caster on-site.

Worn & flat-spotted wheels

Tread worn through, flat spots from locked wheels being dragged, and cracked hubs. Repairable wheels are serviced; wheels past the line are replaced from the standard 5 inch retail sizes we stock.

Anti-theft wheel systems

Locked containment wheels that will not release, damaged lock shells, and dead zones. We service the common systems and restore carts to duty without disabling the theft deterrent.

Wheel and caster work is quoted per caster with parts itemized, so the price scales with what is actually wrong, not with time on site. After inspection you get counts: how many casters need repair, how many wheels need replacement, and which carts have a frame problem instead, those route to shopping cart repair.

Can shopping cart wheels be repaired, or only replaced?

Both, depending on the failure. Seized swivels, debris-packed bearings, and locked anti-theft wheels are repairable. Tread worn through or cracked hubs mean replacement, and at retail cart wheel prices replacement is often cheaper than shop time. The inspection tells you the split before you approve anything.

Why do our carts pull to one side or wobble?

Usually one failed swivel or a flat-spotted wheel, not the whole set. Carts that still pull after wheel service typically have a bent frame, which is a different repair. We diagnose which on-site so you do not pay to re-wheel a cart with a frame problem.

Do you service anti-theft wheel systems?

What wheels do you install?

The standard 5 inch non-marking retail wheels and casters, plus the larger sizes used on flatbeds, U-boats, and bakery racks. The same parts are available to buy if your crew installs them.
