This 3" Total Lock Caster With Brake – 1-3/8" Expanding Stem is rated to 1400 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Rubber wheel with a 1-1/4" tread width. Rubber absorbs shock and protects floors, and runs quietly, which suits noise-sensitive and light-to-medium duty use.
This caster uses a Expanding Rubber Stem mount (1-3/8" stem). Stem casters press or thread into a socket - verify the stem diameter and length match your existing setup before ordering.
The Rubber wheel performs best on rough, uneven, or outdoor surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and cracked concrete. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
