The Kingpinless design features a heat-treated, 1/2" ball bearing raceway with a Zerk fitting, providing smooth swiveling action and minimizing the risk of caster failure, especially under heavy loads. The wheel is made from Phenolic resin, known for its high strength and durability. The black phenolic wheel has a crowned tread profile and a hardness rating of Rockwell 102 E, making it highly resistant to impact, chemicals, and high temperatures. This caster is designed to perform exceptionally well in challenging environments, offering both strength and longevity.
This caster is part of the 75 Series - Kingpinless, which is designed to handle load capacities up to 4100 lbs per caster. It features a robust 6-1/4" x 4-1/2" top plate with a slotted bolt hole pattern of 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4", accommodating various mounting options. This Albion 310TM10501S 10" x 3" Phenolic Swivel Kingpinless Caster – 2900 lb is rated to 2900 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Phenolic wheel with a 3" tread width. Phenolic carries high loads on smooth, hard floors and tolerates heat, but transmits more shock than an elastomer tread.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" plate and a 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" slotted to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for Up to 250°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Phenolic wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 11.5". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
