This Albion 16TM04201SFBA 4" x 2" Phenolic Caster with Wheel Lock Brake – 4" x 4.5" Plate is rated to 800 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Phenolic wheel with a 2" tread width. Phenolic carries high loads on smooth, hard floors and tolerates heat, but transmits more shock than an elastomer tread.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
Rated for Up to 250°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Phenolic wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
