This Albion 16CA06201SFBA 6" x 2" Cast Iron Rigid Caster with Wheel Lock Brake – CasterHQ is rated to 1200 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Cast Iron wheel with a 2" tread width. Steel / iron wheels give maximum capacity and durability on smooth, hard industrial floors and tolerate heat.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
The Cast Iron wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 7.25". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
