The robust 12-inch diameter wheel, combined with a 3-inch width, ensures smooth, stable movement and reliable load-bearing capacity even under heavy use.
The caster features a 6.25-inch x 4.5-inch plate that provides a secure mounting solution, while the green polyurethane on iron construction offers durability, noise reduction, and a non-marking surface. The integrated face brake adds an extra layer of control, ensuring that equipment remains stationary when needed. This caster is designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial environments, making it an excellent choice for equipment requiring high performance and reliability.
This Albion 310PY12501SFBB 12" x 3" Poly-on-Iron Kingpinless Caster w/ Brake is rated to 3500 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Polyurethane wheel with a 3" tread width. Polyurethane protects finished floors, rolls quietly, and resists most chemicals while carrying heavy loads.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" plate and a 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" slotted to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel with Face Contact Brake caster with a wheel brake. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. The brake locks the wheel to hold the load in place. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for -20°F to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Polyurethane wheel performs best on smooth to semi-smooth floors including sealed concrete, tile, and epoxy. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 13.5". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
