Our Genesis casters with a 1/2"-13UNC x 1" Threaded Stem provide a clean, quiet, and effortless solution to many electrical and medical needs. A polished, glass-filled nylon body with integrated thread guards provides strength and rigidity while concealing components and reducing debris entanglement. Sealed precision bearings in the raceway and wheel provide easy, effortless swivel action. Soft, non-marking MonoTech wheels reject debris and are excellent on hardwood and carpeted floors.

Common Applications:
This Shepherd 4" x 1-1/4" MonoTech Swivel Caster 1/2"-13 x 1" Stem – 225 lb is rated to 225 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Gray Rubber wheel with a 1-1/4" tread width. Rubber absorbs shock and protects floors, and runs quietly, which suits noise-sensitive and light-to-medium duty use.
This caster uses a Grip Ring Stem mount (4" x 1-1/4" stem). Stem casters press or thread into a socket - verify the stem diameter and length match your existing setup before ordering.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for Up to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Gray Rubber wheel performs best on rough, uneven, or outdoor surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and cracked concrete. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 5.3750". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
