The Hamilton 1000 lbs Load Capacity Rigid Caster, model R-EN-4NYB, is an epitome of strength and durability, designed for heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications.
This caster features a Rigid design, providing improved mobility and maneuverability even under heavy loads. The Rigid Caster has a load capacity of 1000 lbs at 3 mph, offering a balance between speed and weight capacity.
The caster comes with a 4-inch diameter Nylast High Performance Cast Nylon Wheel that ensures excellent performance in demanding environments. The wheel has a face width of 2 inches and an overall height of 5.125 inches, providing a sturdy base for load carriage.
To further enhance its performance, the caster is equipped with a 1/2-inch Sealed Precision Ball Bearing. The ball bearings reduce friction in the wheel rotation, leading to smoother operations and longer lifespan.
The Hamilton Rigid Caster comes with a Platinum Powder finish, giving it a sleek and stylish look, while its Charcoal Gray Nylast wheel blends durability with aesthetics.
The caster is kingpinless, making it easier to steer and maneuver. The wheel core and tread material is made from Nylon, ensuring long-lasting performance.
The product comes with a detailed set of dimensions for easy installation, including mounting plate, bolt holes, and mounting bolt dimensions.
If the need arises, the caster can be fitted with a replacement wheel, model W-420-NYB-1/2.

This Hamilton R-EN-4NYB 4"x2" Nylast Rigid Sealed Caster – 1000 lb is rated to 1000 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Nylon wheel with a 2" tread width. Nylon resists chemicals and moisture and carries high loads, which suits washdown and wet environments.
This caster uses a top-plate mount. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Rigid caster. Rigid casters track straight for directional stability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for -20°F to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Nylon wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
