Please be aware that the four-position swivel lock and the swivel seals are not compatible with each other. Additionally, if you ever need to replace the wheel, the model W-1240-SPRT-1 is the perfect fit. The tire size for this caster is 200 x 8.
This Hamilton S-7512-SPRT 12" Solid Pneumatic Swivel Caster – 1200 lb is rated to 1200 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Rubber wheel with a 4" tread width. Rubber absorbs shock and protects floors, and runs quietly, which suits noise-sensitive and light-to-medium duty use.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 6-1/8" x 7-1/2" plate and a 4-1/8" x 6-1/8" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The Rubber wheel performs best on rough, uneven, or outdoor surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and cracked concrete. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
