Introducing our 4-inch by 2-inch Total Lock Caster Set, an ideal combination of mobility and stability for a range of applications. This set, with a total capacity of 3,200 lbs, includes two total locking casters and two rigid casters, each featuring a high-quality black phenolic wheel, suitable for industrial, warehousing, and workshop environments.
The Total Lock Caster Set features a dual metal pedal brake system on locking casters, providing robust and reliable braking. The double ball swivel raceway offers smooth swivel action, while the grease fittings in the swivel raceway and on the zerk axle ensure easy maintenance and longevity. The bright zinc finish adds corrosion resistance and a clean appearance, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
Each caster in the set is designed to handle up to 800 lbs, making the total set capacity 3,200 lbs. Additionally, being NSF listed and approved, these casters meet stringent standards for public health protection, assuring quality and safety in every application.
This 4" x 2" Phenolic Total Lock Caster Set 4" x 4-1/2" Plate – 3200 lb is rated to 3200 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Phenolic wheel with a 2" tread width. Phenolic carries high loads on smooth, hard floors and tolerates heat, but transmits more shock than an elastomer tread.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-3/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Rigid with Brake caster with a wheel brake. Rigid casters track straight for directional stability. The brake locks the wheel to hold the load in place. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for Up to 250°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Phenolic wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 5-5/8". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
