Casters. With a 900 lb capacity per caster and a total
of 3,600 lbs, these casters mean serious business. Our part #BBQ4x2HD3600-ComboKit includes
two swivel casters with brakes and two rigid casters, all with solid 4" x
2" cast iron steel wheels. This mix lets you steer your BBQ pit with ease.
Mounting
Hardware: (OPTIONAL ADD-ON)
If you need mounting hardware, choose the hardware option on the right-hand side of the product page. Mounting hardware includes 16 one-inch bolts (5/16), 16
nuts (5/16), and 16 washers. Bigger wheels? No problem. We also
have 5" x 2" and 6" x 2" BBQ
caster kits. Just remember, these casters will raise your pit by 5-5/8
inches from the ground if you are adding to a unit with no casters but if you currently have 5" wheels installed this will not increase your overall height.

like a BBQ pit, with thicker treads, stronger spokes, and bigger hubs. But keep
in mind, that cast iron can be tough on floors.

This 4" x 2" Steel Swivel & Rigid BBQ Pit Caster Set – 3600 lb is rated to 2800 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Cast Iron wheel with a 2" tread width. Steel / iron wheels give maximum capacity and durability on smooth, hard industrial floors and tolerate heat.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Rigid caster. Rigid casters track straight for directional stability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for Up to 800°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Cast Iron wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 5-5/8". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
