The L Series caster is crafted from high-quality pressed steel, zinc-plated and blue-passivated for a corrosion-resistant surface, though not suitable for high-corrosion environments. The robust design features an advanced double ball bearing system in the swivel head, reducing swivel head play and enhancing smooth rolling characteristics.
The caster operates effectively within a temperature range of -5 °F to +175 °F. Temporarily, it can handle up to +210 °F but with a reduced load capacity above +95 °F. Not heat-resistant, it should not be used in high-temperature applications.

This 3-1/2" x 1-1/4" Swivel Caster with Brake – 355 lb is rated to 355 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 2-1/2" x 3-5/8" plate and a 1-3/4" x 2-13/16" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel with Brake caster with a wheel brake. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. The brake locks the wheel to hold the load in place. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for -20°F to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 4-5/8". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
