This 2" Hard Rubber Swivel Caster – 3/8"-16 x 1.5" Threaded Stem is rated to 100 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Rubber wheel with a 7/8" tread width. Rubber absorbs shock and protects floors, and runs quietly, which suits noise-sensitive and light-to-medium duty use.
This caster uses a Threaded Stem mount (3/8"-16 x 1" stem). Stem casters press or thread into a socket - verify the stem diameter and length match your existing setup before ordering.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The Rubber wheel performs best on rough, uneven, or outdoor surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and cracked concrete. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 2-5/8". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
