This 6" x 2" Solid Elastomer Swivel Stainless Caster with Brake – 1100 lb is rated to 1100 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Solid Elastomer wheel with a 4-1/2" tread width. This wheel material balances load capacity, rolling ease, and floor protection for the intended application.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel with Brake caster with a wheel brake. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. The brake locks the wheel to hold the load in place. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The Solid Elastomer wheel performs best on smooth concrete and finished warehouse floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 7.5". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
