Dolly wheels and replacement casters for moving and furniture dollies, all on the 2-3/8 x 3-5/8 in plate with a 1-3/4 x 2-7/8 in bolt pattern. Semi-steel sets of four are rated 1,400 lb in 3, 4 and 5 in sizes. Gray TPR singles run 225 to 315 lb, and TPR, polyurethane and hard rubber sets 900 to 1,260 lb. Choose TPR or polyurethane for finished floors and semi-steel for concrete and truck decks.

Check the fit first

Plate: 2-3/8 x 3-5/8 in. Measure your bolt holes center to center: these are 1-3/4 x 2-7/8 in [S1].
Height: each size up adds about an inch of height, from 4-3/16 in at 3 in to 6-1/4 in at 5 in. Change all four corners together so the deck sits level.
Load: divide the heaviest load by three, not four, because a dolly on an uneven floor often rides on three wheels [S2].

Which tread

Semi-steel: the highest rating here and listed to 600°F. Hard and loud, and it can mark finished floors. Best on concrete, plywood and truck decks.
Gray TPR: soft, quiet and listed as non-marking. The usual pick for furniture moving on finished floors.
Polyurethane: firmer than TPR and rolls with less effort under load.
Hard rubber: a middle option, listed -40 to 160°F.
