All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

Ergonomic casters from Hamilton, built to make heavy carts easier to start and push: Ergo-Tech, Ergo-Glide and Ergo-Glide XT polyurethane wheels from 3-1/2 to 12 in, rated 450 to 6,800 lb each.

Push force comes from two places: starting the cart and keeping it rolling. A rounded, crowned tread touches less floor, so it starts and turns more easily. Precision ball bearings cut rolling friction, and a larger wheel rolls over seams with less effort. Ergonomic casters combine all three [S1].
