5-1/4″ x 7-1/4″ Plate Casters

This collection holds 5-1/4 in x 7-1/4 in Plate Casters with semi steel, phenolic and polyurethane wheels, built for heavy equipment, dies, molds, and plant carts that move very heavy loads. Casters in this collection range from 750 to 5,400 lb per caster. Wheels in this category range from 1 up to 18 inches in diameter with 3 to 5.7 in tread widths. The collection includes swivel, rigid, and brake models. Kingpinless swivels hold up better under shock and repeat loads. Dual wheel casters split the load over two wheels and swivel with less effort under heavy loads. Flanged and V groove track wheels ride on rail or angle iron track for straight line travel. Semi steel (gray iron) rolls with low effort and shrugs off debris. It is loud and can mark finished floors. Choose swivel casters when the cart must turn in place and rigid casters for straight travel. Semi steel aisle: semi steel casters. Wheel hub: replacement wheels.
