Choosing polyurethane plate casters

Load: plan on three casters carrying a four-caster cart [S2]; at 1,200 lb each, a common rating here, that is about 3,600 lb, and the 3,000 lb top rating covers about 9,000 lb.
Mount: most polyurethane plate casters use a 4 x 4-1/2 in top plate; 4-1/2 x 6-1/4 in and 2-3/8 x 3-5/8 in plates are listed too; match the bolt holes on your frame to the plate before ordering.
Floor: on polyurethane plate casters, polyurethane is kinder to tile and finished floors; nylon and cast iron roll easier under heavy loads on smooth concrete.
