All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Casters on the 3 x 3 plate pattern suit forging carts, aerospace fixtures, and multi-ton movers. Catalog chips cover wheel diameters 6, 10 in, cast iron and steel treads, and capacities 1,000 to 30,000 lb. Softer treads quiet finished floors; harder compounds last longer on chips, heat, and rough concrete. Larger plates spread bolt stress on thick frames under continuous tow abuse. These extreme-duty options cover everyday forging carts, aerospace fixtures, and multi-ton movers without jumping to extreme forged series.
