All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
OEM caster spec review for equipment builders. CasterHQ evaluates load, floor, environment, mounting, and brakes, recommends the right caster, and supports samples, testing, and production supply. Available nationwide.
| Requirement | What we evaluate | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Load | Total weight, per-caster load, safety factor, dynamic vs static | Prevents premature wear and failure |
| Floor & environment | Floor type, debris, temperature, washdown, chemicals | Drives wheel material and finish |
| Mounting | Plate size, bolt pattern, stem, frame thickness | Ensures bolt-for-bolt production fit |
| Mobility | Push-force, swivel vs rigid layout, tow speed | Ergonomics and tracking |
| Brakes | Total-lock, directional lock, swivel lock | Safety and compliance with your use case |
| Capacity headroom | Rating vs real-world overload | Durability under abuse |
We provide caster samples so you can validate fit, roll, and durability on your equipment before committing to a production specification.
Once a spec is locked, we plan stocking, lead time, and reorder so casters are available to your build schedule, with blanket-order and PO support for approved accounts.
We help consolidate to a shared caster set across models so you carry fewer part numbers and simplify service. See our caster standardization program.
Remote spec review, samples, and production planning are available nationwide. On-site reviews are reserved for qualified OEM and enterprise opportunities based on application complexity, annual caster volume, and long-term supply potential.
