All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Rig:
Made of heavy pressed steel, with heavy fork and top plate fitting, very strong bolted and secured central kingpin, double ball bearing in the swivel head, additionally reinforced by the integration of four specially shaped and hardened bearing seats resulting in a very high resistance to shock and impact loads. Steel truck lock. Height adjustment with flat spanner. Bolted wheel axle. Zinc-plated, blue-passivated, Cr6-free.
Wheels: Made of high-quality, reaction-injected polyurethane-elastomer Blickle Extrathane®, low-noise operation, low rolling resistance, good floor preservation, very high abrasion resistance, high cut and tear propagation resistance, very good chemical connection with the wheel center.
Tread/tire: Made of high-quality, reaction-injected polyurethane-elastomer Blickle Extrathane®
Wheel center/rim: Made of die-cast aluminum. Casted tread.

This 3-1/8" x 1-1/8" Extrathane Swivel Leveling Caster – 330 lb is rated to 330 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Polyurethane wheel with a 1-1/8" tread width. Polyurethane protects finished floors, rolls quietly, and resists most chemicals while carrying heavy loads.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 100 x 85 mm (3-15/16" x 3-3/8") plate. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Rigid caster. Rigid casters track straight for directional stability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The Polyurethane wheel performs best on smooth to semi-smooth floors including sealed concrete, tile, and epoxy. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
We accept purchase orders and offer Net 30 on approved accounts, ACH, and all major cards, plus tax-exempt ordering with a resale or exemption certificate. Volume discounts apply automatically; request a bulk quote for large or recurring orders. Stock items carry a 30-day return policy in unused condition (made-to-order items are non-returnable once production starts).
Application guidance for load margin, wheel materials, and swivel construction. Confirm ratings against your duty cycle, floor, and temperature before final spec.
For retractable leveling casters, separate rolling capacity from leveling / stationary support capacity when both are published. While rolling, divide moving load across the casters that are extended and load-sharing; keep continuous working load near or below ~75% of the rolling rating (~25% margin). When feet are down for machining or inspection, the machine weight may concentrate on the levelers — size those pads and stems to the stationary load with the same margin mindset, and do not assume the rolling rating automatically covers locked-down duty. Uneven shop floors can land load on three points; design as if one caster or foot may carry more than its “equal share.”
Most leveling / machine-mover casters see shop-floor temperatures where polyurethane or rubber treads are appropriate for floor protection. Bypass standard PU when the machine cell involves ovens, heat-treat adjacency, chip conveyors with hot swarf, or wash chemistry outside the tread’s published range — then evaluate phenolic, nylon, or other materials listed on the PDP. Leveling foot pads (when separate from the wheel) follow their own material and floor-load rules; do not equate wheel compound limits with pad limits. If the cell is ambient and floors are finished concrete, PU or similar resilient treads usually remain the first choice for roll-in positioning.
Retractable leveling units are often repositioned by hand, pallet jack, or occasional powered assist. If your process includes regular towing or AGV docking with side scrub, a conventional kingpin swivel can loosen or brinell for the same reasons as on carts: thrust loads the central pin and race faces repeatedly. Prefer kingpinless or otherwise side-load-capable swivel sections when powered lateral loads are planned; many leveling casters are optimized for positioning and lock-down rather than continuous tugger duty. Match the swivel construction to how the machine actually moves between cells, and use the leveling function for stationary accuracy — not as a substitute for a tow-rated raceway.
