Our 1300 Series Casters are Economical and Versatile. These casters are perfect for material handling, maintenance carts, linen carts, bakeries, food service, dollies, and more! We use double ball bearing raceways for easy 360-degree swiveling action and durability, heavy gauge cold rolled steel, and beautiful zinc plated finish for superior rust and corrosion resistance. We provide a complete dust cover around the raceway of the caster, which prevents dust and debris from accumulating and allows this caster a longer lifespan with a much smoother swiveling raceway.
The wheel is a dark purple non-marking polyurethane tread mechanically locked to a polyolefin core. The polyurethane wheel has a sealed precision bearing for easy initiation, increased ergonomics, and a full thread guard which protects the accumulation of linen, hair, string, and debris from being wrapped around the axle or bearing. Full thread guards are great for many applications where the floor has debris, such as the textile industry, to name one. The polyurethane tread wheel is chemically resistant and will not disintegrate like other wheels due to harsh chemicals or washdown applications. The temperature range of this wheel is -20F to 180F, and the hardness (durometer) is a Shore D 60 (+/-5).
