This 5" x 2" Cast Iron V-Groove Swivel Caster – 1,000 lb is rated to 1000 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.

This caster runs a Cast Iron wheel with a 2" tread width. Steel / iron wheels give maximum capacity and durability on smooth, hard industrial floors and tolerate heat.

This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" plate and a 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" slotted to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.

This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.

Rated for -45°F to 600°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).

The Cast Iron wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.

The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 6-1/2". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
