The Durastar 90 Series 12" x 3" ductile steel swivel caster is rated 3,500 lb per caster. It is a steel wheel for heavy loads, hot areas and rough floors, where a softer tread would wear fast or soften in the heat.

Choose roller bearings or double groove precision bearings, and add a face contact brake, a 4 position swivel lock, or both, from the selectors above.
Good fit: Worn concrete, steel plate and grating; carts near ovens and heat treat lines; floors with chips, slag or debris.
Poor fit: Epoxy, sealed or polished concrete, and work areas where noise matters. A steel wheel is loud and can mark coated floors. For those floors, compare the polyurethane on steel version in the same plate size.

Sizing rule: Divide the heaviest loaded weight by 3, not 4. On an uneven floor one caster is often carrying little or nothing. By that rule, four of these casters suit loads up to 10,500 lb.
This 12" x 3" Ductile Steel Swivel Caster – 3500 lb is rated to 3500 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Ductile Iron wheel with a 3" tread width. Steel / iron wheels give maximum capacity and durability on smooth, hard industrial floors and tolerate heat.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 5-1/4" x 7-1/4" plate and a 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" slotted to 4-1/8" x 6-1/8" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for -45°F to 800°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Ductile Iron wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 15-1/2". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
