The caster shines with a notable load capacity of 800 lbs at 3 mph. Accommodating numerous robust activities, its wheel measures 6 inches in diameter with a 2-inch face, ensuring both stability and agility.
Featuring a Unilast® wheel constructed from solid Polyurethane, the caster offers unmatched resilience, longevity, and resistance to wear and tear. A royal blue finish on the wheel brings a blend of style and potency. Moreover, both the caster and wheel are encased in stainless steel, guaranteeing resistance to rust and a perpetual luster. The incorporation of a cold forged and stamped rig emphasizes further durability.
The caster's total height measures 7.5 inches, accompanied by a swivel offset of 1.68 inches. It comes with a 4 x 4.5 inches mounting plate ensuring solid integration. This Hamilton 6"x2" Unilast Polyurethane Swivel Stainless Caster – 800 lb is rated to 800 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Solid Polyurethane wheel with a 2" tread width. Polyurethane protects finished floors, rolls quietly, and resists most chemicals while carrying heavy loads.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-3/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for -20°F to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Solid Polyurethane wheel performs best on smooth to semi-smooth floors including sealed concrete, tile, and epoxy. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
