This heavy-duty machine leveling caster set of four holds a whopping max capacity of 4,400 lbs. With the new and improved design, the lever is now much easier to adjust by hand, making transitions and stationary projects a breeze. In addition, a nylon clear raceway seal has been added to prevent dust and debris from entering the raceway bearings. This 2.5" x 1-3/16" Nylon Retractable Leveling Caster – 4400 lb is rated to 4400 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Nylon wheel with a 1-3/16" tread width. Nylon resists chemicals and moisture and carries high loads, which suits washdown and wet environments.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 3-9/16" x 3-9/16" plate. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
Rated for -40°F to 250°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Nylon wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 4-1/8". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
