CasterHQ's LV Series leveling stem casters contain a die-cast aluminum frame with a steel swivel head and an internal leveling mechanism & dial with a rubber foot pad; our state-of-art design allows for moving equipment to the desired location, adjusting down the leveling footpad to level out and make the attached equipment completely stationary. The cast aluminum frame is powder-coated in an ivory hue; the wheels are ultra-strong non-marking nylon. This 2.5" x 1-3/16" Nylon Swivel Retractable Leveling Caster – 4,400 lb is rated to 4400 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Nylon wheel with a 1-3/16" tread width. Nylon resists chemicals and moisture and carries high loads, which suits washdown and wet environments.
This caster uses a top-plate mount. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
Rated for -20°F to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Nylon wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
