All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Wheel = wheel diameter · capacity is per caster.

Product fields [S1].
The Ever-Roll 10 x 3 in foam casters are listed at 300 lb for the swivel and 280 lb for the rigid [S1]. Hamilton's tires step up in ply as they get bigger: 4-ply at 8 to 12 in, 6-ply on the 16 in 70166, 8-ply at 18 in and 10-ply at 21 and 25 in [S2].
Hamilton rates its pneumatic tires -30 to 120°F, with low abrasion and chemical resistance [S3]. Keep them away from heat, solvents and fuel spills. Air casters lean slightly under side loads, so a tall cart feels softer on turns than it does on hard wheels.
Just the tire: air-filled wheels and foam-filled wheels. By duty: 8 and 10 in standard duty, Hamilton heavy duty.
Air-filled for the softest ride and adjustable cushion. Foam-filled where punctures or flat tires after storage are a problem.
CasterHQ 8 in air casters are rated 250 lb and 10 in 350 lb. Hamilton singles go to 4,050 lb and Hamilton duals to 7,700 lb per caster.
It is the caster frame with plate, swivel and axle but no wheel, so you can fit your own 8 or 10 in tire.
Hamilton rates its rubber pneumatic tires down to -30°F.
