This 3" Total Lock Caster Set – 1-1/2" ID Leg Tube Prep Table is rated to 1400 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Rubber wheel. Rubber absorbs shock and protects floors, and runs quietly, which suits noise-sensitive and light-to-medium duty use.
This is a Swivel with Total Lock Brake caster with a wheel brake. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. The brake locks the wheel to hold the load in place. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The Rubber wheel performs best on rough, uneven, or outdoor surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and cracked concrete. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
