All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

Order processing
In stock. Orders placed before 12pm CT (Mon–Fri) typically ship the same or next business day from our Mansfield, TX warehouse.
Shipping method
Smaller orders ship parcel (UPS/FedEx Ground). Heavy or bulk quantities consolidate to LTL freight. The method and final cost are shown before payment, so there are no post-checkout adjustments.

This 5" x 2" Glass Filled Nylon Swivel Caster – 1,000 lb is rated to 1000 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Nylon wheel with a 2" tread width. Nylon resists chemicals and moisture and carries high loads, which suits washdown and wet environments.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-3/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for Up to 550°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Nylon wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 6-1/2". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
We accept purchase orders and offer Net 30 on approved accounts, ACH, and all major cards, plus tax-exempt ordering with a resale or exemption certificate. Volume discounts apply automatically; request a bulk quote for large or recurring orders. Stock items carry a 30-day return policy in unused condition (made-to-order items are non-returnable once production starts).
Application guidance for load margin, wheel materials, and swivel construction. Confirm ratings against your duty cycle, floor, and temperature before final spec.
Treat published load capacity as a continuous working limit, not a one-time peak. Divide total loaded cart weight (product + rack + fixtures) by the number of casters that share the load, then size so that working load per caster stays at or below about 75% of the rated capacity (a common ~25% margin). On four-wheel oven racks, uneven floors and thermal growth can shift load to two or three casters; if your process routinely parks on imperfect floors, engineer for three-caster support rather than perfect four-way share. Confirm ratings at your process temperature — heat softens many wheel compounds and can lower usable capacity versus room-temperature catalog numbers.
Bypass standard polyurethane when continuous or cyclic wheel temperatures exceed the urethane compound’s published service range (often well below typical bake / washdown-after-heat zones). Spec glass-filled nylon or phenolic (or other high-temp tread systems on the PDP) when racks enter ovens, proofers, or wash tunnels where tread softening, bond failure, or flat spots would appear with PU. Match the wheel to the hottest surface the tread sees, including residual heat after exit, and verify chemical exposure (cleaners, fats, steam) against the material notes on this product. When in doubt, ask for the temperature and duty cycle — we will confirm whether this SKU or a high-temp alternate is the right call.
A traditional kingpin clamps the swivel assembly through a single axial fastener. Repeated side thrust from towing, tugger lines, or AGV path corrections loads that pin and the raceway faces in ways ordinary cart steering does not. Over time that shows up as elongated kingpin holes, brinelled races, or loose swivels. Kingpinless (or forged integrated) raceways distribute thrust through a continuous race path instead of relying on that central pin — better suited when side loads are planned into the duty cycle. Oven-rack and high-temp lines still need the correct wheel material first; upgrade the swivel construction when towing or powered side loads are part of the application, not only when heat is.
