Polyolefin wheels, known for their resistance to common liquids, are an ideal choice for both commercial and industrial applications. Although they have a slightly lower capacity and narrower temperature range compared to Nylon wheels, our Heavy Duty Polyolefin wheels stand out in performance. However, it's advisable to avoid using these wheels in extreme cold, such as freezers, or in high-heat scenarios exceeding 180°F.

This 6"x2" Polyolefin Rigid Caster 4"x4-1/2" Top Plate – 700 lb is rated to 700 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Nylon wheel with a 2" tread width. Nylon resists chemicals and moisture and carries high loads, which suits washdown and wet environments.
This is a Rigid caster. Rigid casters track straight for directional stability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for 40°F to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Nylon wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
