The Albion Casters 6" x 2" Polypropylene Wheel Caster is a top choice for industrial and commercial applications due to its robust construction and advanced features. The smooth-formed, hardened double ball bearing raceways ensure minimal wear and long-term reliability. This Albion 16PB06251SFBA 6" x 2" Polypropylene Caster with Wheel Lock Brake – 4" x 4.5" Plate is rated to 700 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Polypropylene wheel with a 2" tread width. Polyurethane protects finished floors, rolls quietly, and resists most chemicals while carrying heavy loads.
This caster uses a top-plate mount with a 4" x 4-1/2" plate and a 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" slotted to 3" x 3" bolt pattern. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
This is a Swivel with Face Contact Brake caster with a wheel brake. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. The brake locks the wheel to hold the load in place. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The Polypropylene wheel performs best on smooth to semi-smooth floors including sealed concrete, tile, and epoxy. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 7.25". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
