Plant buyers who purchase end-of-line packaging, storage systems, or conveying now have a named U.S. sales contact from MotionTech. On Sept. 1, 2026, the company said it is entering the United States market and appointed Kristian Hulgard as Executive Sales Director for the U.S. market, effective that day. The company said Hulgard is based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and that the area will be the initial base for its North American expansion.
A buyer can ask MotionTech whether Hulgard is the person to call for those products, and whether a project is still handled from Europe. The Sept. 1 release does not publish a street address, a phone number, a warehouse, or a date when local service techs will be in place. The appointment is not a caster specification, a lead time, or a vehicle-safety approval.
MotionTech said it is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. CasterHQ does not sell MotionTech equipment and is not claiming a supply or installation relationship with this launch.
What MotionTech said changed
MotionTech said the initial U.S. focus is end-of-line packaging, storage systems, and conveying solutions. It said that, over time, it plans a broader commercial and service presence in the United States. “Over time” is the company’s wording. The page does not say that presence is already built.
The company said that, in recent years, it has completed more than 30 installations for U.S. customers. That figure is the company’s statement, not an independent count.
“Customers have repeatedly asked for a dedicated local point of contact for both sales and service,” said Louise Ringström Grandinson, CEO of MotionTech, in the Sept. 1 release.
The same release says MotionTech’s U.S. operations will begin ramping up immediately. That sentence has no calendar date after Sept. 1 and no published service territory.
What a plant buyer can do
If a project needs end-of-line packaging, storage, or conveying, ask the company for the U.S. sales channel named in the Sept. 1 release and for what local service, if any, exists today from the Dallas–Fort Worth base.
Do not assume an open sales office. The company page does not use the word office and does not give an address. A trade report the next day described a first U.S. sales office. The company page does not say that.
What did not change: no U.S. manufacturing site was announced, no caster brand changed hands, and no lead time was published.
Limits
The primary is MotionTech’s Sept. 1, 2026 page. The “more than 30 installations” line, the plan for a later service presence, and the “ramping up immediately” line are company statements, not an independent audit. No Texas filing, occupancy record, or U.S. subsidiary record was checked. No street address, phone, lease, or warehouse opening was on the page. The photograph is downtown Dallas, not a MotionTech facility. The company’s media library bars commercial use of its own photographs. CasterHQ has no commercial relationship with this launch.
