All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Wheel = wheel diameter · capacity is per wheel.

Track wheels that ride on angle iron or flat rail: V-groove wheels in cast iron, ductile iron and NyloForce polymer, and Hamilton single and double flanged wheels.

A V-groove wheel has a notch that rides on an upturned angle iron, the usual setup under sliding gates and track carts. A flanged wheel has a raised lip on one side (single flanged) or both sides (double flanged) and runs on flat bar or rail [S1]. Hamilton notes that running on track takes the load off the floor, which allows higher capacities, easier rolling, floor protection and controlled travel [S2].

Listing descriptions and product fields [S1]. Plain-bore versions are sold by bore, from 7/8 to 2-1/4 in.
Narrow it down: V-groove wheels, cast iron V-groove, sliding gate wheels.
A single flanged wheel has one raised lip and is used where the track or a guide holds the other side. A double flanged wheel has lips on both sides and stays centered on the rail by itself.
On this page, the 10 x 3 in ductile iron V-groove wheel at 7,000 lb.
Yes. NyloForce polymer V-groove wheels are rust-free and rated 2,200 lb in 4, 5 and 8 in sizes.
Some do. Hamilton WFT wheels come with plain bores or roller, tapered or ball bearings, and NyloForce wheels use 6205 ball bearings. Check each listing.
